TOURVEST DESTINATION MANAGEMENT LAUNCHES A NEW SPORTS-FOCUSED BRAND IN THE UNITED KINGDOM
Tourvest Destination Management (TDM), a leader in the tourism and the event management industry since 1981, has officially launched its new Team Travel Management brand in the UK.
Originally conceptualised as TEAM Destination Management in 2005 in preparation for the FIFA World Cup 2010 that took place in South Africa, and TEAM Sports Travel, which specialises in school/club sports tours, the new Team Travel Management combines the experience of these two brands.
The new brand will build on the track record of supporting many leading professional sports teams, schools, universities, sports bodies, federations, sponsors, sports marketing agencies and media partners across the biggest sports.
The new Team Travel Management brand sees the consolidation of three areas of focus for the UK sports operator, namely, school outbound travel, elite team travel and logistics and travel for large sports events.
With offices in London, Cape Town and Johannesburg, along with travel partners in Europe, Australia, New Zealand, South America, North America and Asia, a big part of Team Travel Management’s success lies in the global footprint across these destinations, coupled with a focus on these three strategic areas, says Bryan Coetzee, COO of Team Travel Management.
