WELCOME TOURISM SERVICES ANNOUNCES TWO KEY APPOINTMENTS

Welcome Tourism Services is pleased to announce the appointment of Alessandra Allemann as Sales and Marketing Director and Andrea Hand as Operations Director.

Alessandra brings to the new role a wealth of experience in operations, sales and marketing which she has gained during her ten year tenure at Welcome. For the past three years Alessandra has excelled in the position of Operations Director and Andrea will now be taking over this team of highly skilled and motivated travel professionals.

Prior to her role in operations Alessandra proved to be a highly effective sales manager and she has established and nurtured a loyal and committed client base in many markets around the world; Italy and Australia in particular. Alessandra’s very successful track record in sales and marketing made her the natural successor to the outgoing Sales and Marketing Director.

Andrea Hand has enjoyed a varied career in the tourism industry, many of her nineteen years in the business served at Tourvest Destination Management (TDM). Andrea currently heads up one of the largest operations teams in Welcome and she is superbly qualified to meet the challenges of operational leadership, customer service, and relationship management required in the demanding role of Welcome’s Operations Director. Her people skills, strict work ethic, extensive operational experience and professionalism will undoubtedly take Welcome to new heights.
