TOURVEST’S PILANESBERG ELEPHANTS TO RETIRE

Tourvest Accommodation and Activities (TAA) will end its elephant back safari and elephant interaction operations at Sun City Resort from the end of August 2014 in order to rehabilitate the elephants.

TAA chief executive Gary Elmes says that after 12 years of educating and enriching the lives of countless visitors to Sun City, it is time to enter the next planned phase in the elephant’s lives, which is to release them back into the wild.
