Joined the group in July 2003 as chief executive officer. Was previously with Absa Corporate Merchant Bank as head of the Corporate Finance & Investment banking division. Prior to this he held various management positions within the Malbak stable. Tommy holds a BAcc, CA(SA) and an AMP Harvard.
Joined the group in May 2005 as deputy chief financial officer and executive committee member. He is responsible for group reporting. He was previously a senior manager at Deloitte & Touche. Luvhengo holds a BComm and a CA (SA).
David, a CA (SA) by training has been with Tourvest since its listing in
1997. An entrepreneurial spirit with a penchant for maximising
opportunities, he heads up the groupís Travel Retail division.
Worked at Tourvest Destination Managementís flagship brand Welcome Tourism Services since 1988 and has been TDMís chief operating officer since 2004. He is responsible for the Tourvest Destination Management division and has over 24 yearsí experience in the tourism industry.
Conrad joined the group and executive committee in 2002 as corporate counsel and commercial manager. He was appointed company secretary in October 2004. He is responsible for the groupís secretarial and legal matters.
Joined the group in 1997 as financial manager and company secretary. He joined the executive committee in 2004. He is responsible for the financial services and travel services divisions.
Joined the group in 2007 to head up Tourvestís product portfolio. He has over20 yearsí experience in the short-term insurance financial services industry and has worked for Glenrand MIB, Alexander Forbes and. Before joining Tourvest, Gary owned his own financial consultancy called Highgrove Financial Services. He is responsible for Tourvestís accommodation and activities division.
Blacky has been involved in the tourism industry since 1985 and was the general manager for the Americas of SA Tourism for six years. He was also managing director of Miami-based tour operator Karell Travel for four years and chief executive officer of 1time Holdings from 2011 to 2013. Blacky was appointed as a member of Tourvestís executive committee in July 2013 and is a long-standing board member of American Express Foreign Exchange in South Arica.
Joined the group as chief operating officer in February 2014. She was the managing director of public broadcasting at the South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC) between 2001 and 2005 and is a past chief executive of Motorola Sub-Saharan Africa as well as a former senior vice-president of AREVA in South Africa. Nwokedi sits on the boards of the South African Nuclear New Business Consortium and the Consolidated Infrastructure Group. She chairs the AIDS Consortium and the International Womenís Forum South Africaís Global Business Connect sub-committee.
