Tommy Edmond – CEO
Joined the group in July 2003 as chief executive officer. Was previously with Absa Corporate Merchant Bank as head of the Corporate Finance & Investment banking division. Prior to this he held various management positions within the Malbak stable. Tommy holds a BAcc, CA(SA) and an AMP Harvard.
Luvhengo Neswiswi
Joined the group in May 2005 as deputy chief financial officer and executive committee member. He is responsible for group reporting. He was previously a senior manager at Deloitte & Touche. Luvhengo holds a BComm and a CA(SA).
Judi Nwokedi
Joined the group as chief operating officer in February 2014. She was the managing director of public broadcasting at the South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC) between 2001 and 2005 and is a past chief executive of Motorola Sub-Saharan Africa as well as a former senior vice-president of AREVA in South Africa. Nwokedi sits on the boards of the South African Nuclear New Business Consortium and the Consolidated Infrastructure Group. She chairs the AIDS Consortium and the International Women’s Forum South Africa’s Global Business Connect sub-committee

Non-Executive Directors:

Robert Gumede
Robert is the executive chairman of the Guma Group, a leading black-owned investment company. He is also the chairman of JSE-listed technology company Gijima.
Deon van de Walt

Deon serves as the in-house legal counsel and executive in the corporate finance Division at Guma Group. Since 2001, Deon has been intrinsically involved with Guma Group and is instrumental to its team’s pursuit of its business strategy and corporate goal to create synergies and a competitive advantage. Admitted as an attorney in 1996, he has qualifications in the supporting and complimentary legal and financial disciplines and has since specialised in corporate and commercial work. He holds a BCOM, LLB, LLM (RAU) and MCOM (UJ).

Paul Boynton
Paul served articles with Deloitte Haskins and Sells before working for Investec in corporate finance. He is currently head of the Alternative Investments boutique of Old Mutual Investment Group. Paul holds a BComm, a BSc (Hons), CA(SA), FCMA and an MBA.
Sipho Majombozi
Sipho Majombozi is Chair of the Eastern Cape Gambling and Betting Board in East London. He is Non-Executive Chair of Knight Piesold Consulting Engineers in Johannesburg as well as Chair and Chief Executive Officer of Kabusha Holdings in Johannesburg. He is Council Member of the Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority in Pretoria.

Mncedisi Xego
Mncedisi, Chief Executive Officer of Royal Fields Finance, has over 14 years experience in structured finance and corporate credit as well as corporate tax and international law. He has advised on finance transactions totalling some R22 billion and previously represented South Africa at the United Nations while working for the Department of Foreign Affairs. He holds a LLM (Tax), a LLM (International Law), a LLB and a BProc.

Farhad Khan

Farhad spent 3 years in the consulting industry where held the position of senior financial analyst in the Johannesburg office of New York based global consulting group, Stern Stewart & Co. He is currently a portfolio analyst with Old Mutual Private Equity and is responsible for sourcing, executing and managing private equity investments on behalf of investors. Farhad is a member of the Tourvest Investment and Transformation Committees.Farhad holds a BComm (Finance) (Hons)
Philip Maisel
Philip was reappointed to the Tourvest board in 2013 having served previously for a number of years when the company was listed. He is a chartered accountant and has served on the boards of several listed companies covering a range of businesses. As a non-executive director he has chaired and been a member of Audit ,risk and remuneration committees.
 Khehla Mthembu
Was previously the chief executive officer of Old Mutual Gauteng and an exco member of Old Mutual South Africa from 2003 to 2008. He is also a past chairman of Sun International, the Wananchi Group, an investment holding company, and New Age Beverages, Pepsi South Africa. Khehla holds aBComm, MAP, and a Management Development Diploma.
Ramani Naidoo
Ramani is currently the lead independent director of Winhold Limited, a non-executive director of Invicta Holdings Limited, and of a number of unlisted companies. She is a former non-executive director of Allied Technologies (Altech), African Bank, Juta and Company, Stellenbosch Vineyards and was a member of the Advisory Councils of the University of South Africa (UNISA) Centre for Corporate Citizenship and the Centre for Responsible Leadership of the University of Pretoria.

Andrew McDonic
Joined the group in 1997 as financial manager and company secretary. He joined the executive committee in 2004. He is responsible for the Financial Services and Travel Services divisions.
Company Secretary:
Conrad Mortimer
Conrad joined the group and executive committee in 2002 as corporate counsel and commercial manager. He was appointed company secretary in October 2004. He is responsible for the group’s secretarial and legal matters.
