Robert Gumede
 
Robert is the executive chairman of the Guma Group, a leading black-owned investment company. Robert started his career as a legal clerk and progressed to state prosecutor in Nelspruit. He is also the chairman of JSE-listed technology company GijimaAst. Robert holds a BUris degree.
 
   
Carlos Ferreira
 
Carlos joined Guma in 2002 to head up group finance and to assist in corporate finance. He was instrumental in the merger of Gijima Technologies and the JSE-listed ICT group to form GijimaAst, a company he still serves as chief financial officer. Carlos holds a BComm (Hons) and an MBA.
 
   
Thembi Kunene
 
Thembi is the chief executive officer of the Tourism Grading Council of South Africa (TGCSA). Her career in tourism started at the Airports Company of South Africa (ACSA) where she managed George Airport. Thembi also worked for the Bidvest Group as commercial director of Bidfreight and is also a founder of Siyazi Investment Holdings. Thembi holds a BA Communications and completed a Management Development Programme.
 
   
Dr Judy Dlamini
 
Judy, a general practitioner, provided consulting services on occupational health until 1997 when she joined HSBC Investment Bank as a consultant. In 2003, she left HSBC to form her own investment company. Judy sits on the boards of Northam Platinum, GijimaAst and Eyommhlabo and is the non-executive chairman for Aspen Pharmacare. Judy holds an MBChB, a DOH and an MBA.
 
   
Paul Boynton
 
Paul served articles with Deloitte Haskins and Sells before working for Investec Merchant Bank Limited in a corporate finance capacity. He is currently an executive director in the Alternative Assets boutique of Old Mutual Investment Group. Paul holds a BComm, a BSc (Hons), CA(SA) and an MBA.
 
   
Garth Solomon
Chartered Accountant
 
Garth, CA, served articles with Deloitte & Touche, before working for Group Five Properties and thereafter African Harvest in a corporate finance capacity. He is currently a portfolio manager in the Alternative Assets boutique of Old Mutual Investment Group. Garth holds a BComm, BCompt (Hons) and a CA(SA).
Mncedisi Xego
 
Mncedisi, Chief Executive Officer of Royal Fields Finance, has over 14 years experience in structured finance and corporate credit as well as corporate tax and international law. He has advised on finance transactions totalling some R22 billion and previously represented South Africa at the United Nations while working for the Department of Foreign Affairs. He holds a LLM (Tax), a LLM (International Law), a LLB and a BProc.

Tommy Edmond – CEO
 
Joined the group in July 2003 as chief executive officer. Was previously with Absa Corporate Merchant Bank as head of the merchant banking division. Prior to this he held various management positions within the Malbak stable. Tommy holds a BComm, CA(SA) and an AMP Harvard. 
 
   
Luvhengo Neswiswi
 
Joined the group in May 2005 as deputy chief financial officer and executive committee member. He is responsible for group reporting. He was previously a senior manager at Deloitte & Touche. Luvhengo holds a BComm and a CA(SA).
 
   
Eric de Jager
 
Was one of the original vendors when Tourvest listed in 1997. He is responsible for the retail merchandise division as well as being managing director of Tigers Eye which is Tourvest’s largest business.
 
   
Khehla Mthembu
 
Was previously the chief executive officer of Old Mutual Gauteng and an exco member of Old Mutual South Africa from 2003 to 2008. He is also a past chairman of Sun International, the Wananchi Group, an investment holding company, and New Age Beverages, Pepsi South Africa. Khehla holds a BComm, MAP, and a Management Development Diploma.
