RAMANI NAIDOO JOINS TOURVEST’S BOARD

Ramani Naidoo has been appointed a non-executive director of Tourvest Holdings.

Naidoo is currently the lead independent director of Winhold Limited, a non-executive director of Invicta Holdings Limited and of a number of unlisted companies. Her former non-executive directorships include Allied Technologies (Altech), African Bank, Juta and Company, Stellenbosch Vineyards as well as membership of the Advisory Councils of the University of South Africa (UNISA) Centre for Corporate Citizenship and the Centre for Responsible Leadership of the University of Pretoria.

An admitted attorney, notary public and conveyance, Naidoo brings a wealth of experience from many years spent both in private legal practice and in various corporate roles. She has a special interest in and has written extensively on corporate governance. She is the author of The Effective Directors’ Guide and Corporate Governance – An Essential Guide for South African Companies, the second edition of which was published in November 2009.
